Soils Limited were appointed following the unsuccessful attempts of various other companies to formulate a remediation strategy to the satisfaction of both the Environment Agency and the Environmental Health Officer (EHO).
The former use of the site as a petrol filling station, with 13 underground storage tanks, and the presence of a landfill adjacent to the southern boundary made the site environmentally complex.
